Mechanics§
The object writer emits ELFCLASS32 little-endian EM_386 ET_REL with canonical .text, .rodata, .data, .bss, symbols, string tables and REL relocation sections. Non-loadable metadata carries compile/link contracts.
Validation and failure§
Malformed offsets, indices, ranges, unsupported machine/type and arithmetic overflow return deterministic errors without panic or partial output.
Evidence and boundary§
objdump -f -h -t -r proves format, sections, visibility, undefined symbols and R_386_PC32/R_386_32 fixups before link.
