Source inspection exposes canonical HIR, generic instances and target layout. Artifact inspection exposes symbols, relocations and decoded machine code without modifying the input.
Validation and failure§
Inspection still validates the selected parser. A malformed ELF or archive produces a diagnostic rather than best-effort invented structure.
Evidence and boundary§
Use inspect snapshots for semantic identity and objdump as an independent binary view; agreement across both is stronger than either alone.
