DByte Native Filesystem Runtime (v11.10.0)
v11.10.0 extends the existing DBFS1 persistent-filesystem proof while keeping the on-disk format byte-compatible.
The release README records these additions:
- hierarchical paths;
- generation-safe task-owned handles;
- a write-through sector cache;
- native integer division and remainder;
- typed pointer-field access;
- persistent kernel configuration and log state across three boots.
The executed verification entrypoint is:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File scripts/verify_native_filesystem_runtime.ps1
This page is a release-level summary because the attached documentation set does not contain a separate DBYTE_NATIVE_FILESYSTEM_RUNTIME.md file. For the DBFS1 disk layout, root API, allocation rules, and two-boot persistence contract from v11.9.0, read DByte Native Persistent Filesystem.
For the compiler and systems target that execute this runtime, read DByte Native Systems Toolchain.
