The tagged compiler source and contract—not this website—define semantics.
Mechanics§
The v12 contract freezes the single semantic pipeline, public representation rules, general-purpose feature set, i686 C subset, object/archive production and target matrix.
Validation and failure§
Website or post-tag prose cannot change the contract. Deferred owned/runtime/platform work stays future tense until a later tagged release.
Evidence and boundary§
Commit, annotated tag object, package size/hash, mirrored source hashes and release-binary fixture output form the identity chain.
Roadmap boundary§
Post-v12 work is tracked at ROADMAP. Proposed v12.1 runtime, v12.2 collections and v12.3 x86_64/Linux/Windows targets do not modify this frozen release contract.
